Noise insulation left much to be desired. sounds from neighboring rooms and common areas filtered through the walls, disrupting sleep. The room’s layout advertised a courtyard, but what we encountered was more of an enclosed space with little privacy. Basic amenities need attention, like the loose door handle and an unsteady toilet which detracted from comfort.

During my stay as a solo traveler, I really enjoyed the beautiful decorations in the room, which created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The complimentary water bottles and chocolates each day were such a nice touch, showing attention to detail. The convenience of being just a short walk from the train station made exploring the area effortless, and I particularly loved visiting the nearby Church of Nostra Signora della Neve as it was only a quick stroll away.

Delighted with my experience at Racconti Di Mare in La Spezia. The room, a Deluxe King Room, was stunning with unique decorations. The comfy bed and the personal touch from staff created a cozy atmosphere. Breakfast was a standout. it included delicious options like fresh fruit and homemade pancakes, beautifully presented by Jagoda. The location is prime—only a short 10-minute walk from the train station. However, noise insulation from neighboring rooms could be improved, as I occasionally heard late-night conversations. Additionally, the absence of air conditioning during warmer nights was uncomfortable, though a fan was provided. Still, the hospitality from the staff and the overall charm of the place made it a memorable stay. Looking forward to a return visit when it isn’t so hot.

the ambiance was charming, yet the lack of soundproofing was absolutely unbearable with neighbors chatting loudly late at night. i absolutely expected a complimentary breakfast instead of mere bread and tea. and really, no air conditioning in the middle of summer? ! i almost wrote a good review but just couldn’t overlook these issues.

Wi-Fi was fast, and the flat-screen TV was great. No lift available was inconvenient.
